A sublime and super rare track from the mighty Knuckles (I completely missed it’s re-release last year) which was originally performed by Billy Paul in 1977.

Please add the original, as I have not heard this in YEARS, wasn’t there a 12″ single by Billy Paul ??
Thanks and love this remix, how about you doing a reedit with both versions ?? That would be da bomb !!!

There is a re-issue 12″ on TSOP its a double a-side with the Intruders on the flip, reasonably easy to pick-up:

Also try & check out a 12″ by the Magick Edit Allstars that re-edits the Billy Paul original, great record.

I would love “LOVE UNLIMITED” to make a long mix with both versions segued together to make a super long set like 10 minutes. I love your re-edits, like the ones you did with Marvin Gaye and Dionne Warwicke.
Thanks,
DJ Fan
We cannot take credit for the various re-edits you mention, these where passed to us by a good friend of the Love Unlimited and came via NYC.
Glad you like them & thanks for your comments.
Easy Dom
Top tunes both the Billy Paul on PIR and Frankie’s version, play them both fairly often.
Alright Mark, you gotta love Billy Paul so many top tracks to choose, Only The Strong, Let ‘Em In, East…
Cheers
Dom
Don’t mean to step on anyone’s toes or anything but didn’t Jerry Butler do the original back in ‘69.
welcome aboard & thanks for passing through.
