Stargard – What You Waitin For

by dom on August 1, 2008

Always more disco for your dollar at the love unlimited…

Stargard hailed from Los Angeles, California and are probably best known for their disco hit ‘Wear it Out’, for your listening pleasure we feature this little cowbell groover ‘What You Waitin For’ released in 1978 on MCA records.

Some well known samples for the spotters and relatively easy and cheap to find on a 7″ & 12″

Now that is funky! Been inundated with so-so disco for the last couple of months and was thinking my love affair was waning. No longer. Love the combination of grit and sheen in this one. Thanks.

Actually Starguard is better known for the theme song from the Richard Pryor flick
Which Way Is Up?
