Yet another quality publication courtesy of the lovely & knowledgable folk over at DJHistory for those of you who know about Boy’s Own you won’t need to be reminded that they were among the chief architects of the acid house explosion in London in the late eighties. They threw brilliant parties, had a label deal that turned bad with London/FFRR and were brave enough to start their own (along the way they discovered Underworld, TheChemical Brothers, X-Press 2, Black Science Orchestra and many more).
As part of their Acid House capers they ran an hilarious and irreverent fanzine for several years. DJHistory have collected them together to produce a monster of a book. It looks amazing.
